Maelle - 9x12 Original Watercolor Painting | Expeditioner Fan Art

Captivated by Lumiere and its' inhabitants, Maelle stood out as the youngest expeditioner. She is such a fun character to play with and I felt inspired to paint her (and the whole crew!) after completing the game.

Looking at this piece brings me back into Lumiere and the continent trying to save everyone before the next gommage. 

9 x 12 (22.9 x 30.5 cm) on 140 lb (300 gsm) 100% cotton paper. Professional non-fugitive watercolor paints were used: brands include Holbein Watercolor, Daniel Smith Extra Fine Watercolors and Zecchi Toscana Watercolors. Once completed, a wax medium is spread across the whole painting as a varnish to further protect it.
